3Dental Aligners
The quicker path to
Your perfect smile

What are Aligners
What are 3Dental Aligners

3Dental Aligners are an alternative to traditional braces for
straightening teeth. They are made of a clear, flexible plastic
and are custom-made to fit. They work by applying gentle
pressure to the teeth, gradually shifting them into their desired
position. With the use of remote monitoring 3Dental are able
to straighten teeth quicker than alternative aligner systems.
3Dental Aligners can treat a wide range of
orthodontic cases, including

Crowded teeth

When there isn’t enough space in the jaw for teeth to align properly.

Spacing issues

When there is too much space between teeth.

Bite issues

When the teeth do not come together properly, such as an overbite, underbite, or crossbite.

When the teeth don’t fit together correctly, causing problems with chewing, speaking, and other functions.

Relapsed treatment

When teeth shift back to their original position after previous orthodontic treatment.

The benefits of using clear aligners include

Clear aligners are virtually invisible, which means they are a more aesthetically pleasing option than traditional braces.

Made of smooth plastic and do not have any wires or brackets that can irritate the mouth unlike traditional braces.

Removable for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.

Achieve results faster than traditional braces.

Improved oral health

Straighter teeth are easier to clean, reducing the risk of gum disease and tooth decay.

You will visit a dentist or orthodontist for an initial consultation, and they will take a scan or impressions

Treatment plan

After this 3Dental Aligners will create a treatment plan to achieve your desired smile. This will be shown to you, and you will see a digital simulation of how your smile will look

Aligner fabrication

The 3D model of your teeth is used to create a series of clear aligners that are custom-made to fit your teeth.

Once they have been created you will attend an appointment to fit your first stage of aligners. You will also be shown how to use the Dental Monitoring to be able to scan your progress from home.

Wearing the aligners

The aligners should be worn for 20-22 hours per day and changed every 7-10 days depending on the treatment plan.

Dental monitoring check-ins

You will scan your teeth every 7-10 days. The Dental Monitoring app will advise you if you can move onto the next stage. This is monitored by your dentist so if there are any issues they can contact you.

Progression through the aligners

As you progress through the aligners you will begin to see your teeth shift and align according to the treatment plan. Regular dental monitoring check-ins will ensure that the treatment is progressing as planned

Completion of treatment

After your final stage you will have achieved your perfect smile. You will get any refinements included if you are not happy with the results and also will receive a retainer to keep your smile.

“I have recently started my aligner journey with 3Dental and I couldn't be happier! I have literally had to have one appointment with a dentist to apply some attachments to my teeth and have been provided with the entire sets of aligners and even my final retainer. The Dental monitoring aspect is great! It gives reminders when to take a scan and lets you know when to change your aligner and even tells you how you are doing with your oral hygiene along the way, it will also prompt me to book an appointment with my dentist or hygienist should I need to be seen. Dental monitoring creates a video of your progress and each time you take a scan you can see the progress you are making.”
